Our opening keynote speaker is John Linney! John is an international speaker, trainer and author currently residing in Texas. As a “climate specialist,” he has provided services and training to over 400 educational institutions, foundations, community partnerships, and organizations in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico & Mexico. John has 25 years of experience improving organizational climates including strategic planning, workplace communication, teamwork, morale, and workforce and leadership development.
Our closing keynote speaker is Michelle Holt! Michelle is an executive leader, and personal connection influencer, who believes real connection is the most underrated leadership skill in today’s workplace. With 30 years of experience in organizational management, economic development, and strategic partnership building, Michelle has seen firsthand how authentic relationships can transform teams and drive success.
As a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and creator of the GET REAL™ framework, Michelle brings warmth, humor, and practical wisdom to every stage. She’s known for her down-to-earth style that feels less like a lecture and more like advice from a trusted friend.

The Idaho State Council of SHRM’s mission is to provide professional leadership and resources that promotes, supports, and advances the HR Profession by partnering with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), affiliate chapters, SHRM members and Idaho communities.
Idaho has three chapters (HRATV in Boise, Snake River in Twin Falls, & SE Idaho in Idaho Falls) with over 600 members combined. Our conference typically has 350+ in attendance.
